Donor Parking Changes for 2008 Football Season

Dear Frog Club Supporter:

Thank you for your exceptional support of TCU and ask you to renew your gift to the Frog Club and reserve your parking for the 2008 football season. Please read the following information carefully.

The continued success of our athletic program, headlined by the TCU football team, has brought national exposure and pride to TCU and its alumni. The football program has experienced unprecedented success in the last 10 years:

• 5 seasons of 10 wins or more and 9 bowl games in the last 10 years (one of only 18 teams to do so!)
• 5 seasons in the final AP Poll, 2 seasons in the BCS Poll
• An 86% Graduation Rate for Football as recognized by the American Football Coaches Association.

The rewards of a high-profile and successful program require continued investment. Head Coach Gary Patterson and his staff continue to improve the program and win with class against big-name opponents. The outlook for the future is also very bright!

Your annual donation to the Frog Club helps underwrite the more than $10 million annual cost of athletic scholarships for all 20 varsity sports at TCU. In fact, the annual cost of athletic scholarships at TCU has more than doubled over the past 10 years. With these factors in mind, the Frog Club Board of Directors is asking you to renew and, if you feel so moved, increase your gift.

GIFT LEVEL INCREASES

In accordance with action taken by the Frog Club’s Board of Directors, annual gift levels for 2008 donor football parking will increase in selected lots after March 15. All 2007 parking donors who renew prior to March 15 may do so at 2007 gift levels. Below is a list of changes for the 2008 football season, which will take effect after March 15:

• Lot 2 Reserved Parking will increase to $1250 per season.

 

• Lot 3 Reserved Parking will increase to $1250 per season.

 

• RV Reserved Parking will increase to $1250 per season.

 

• Reserved Parking will now be available in Lot 14 for $1250 per season.

 

• General Parking in Lots 4 and 8 will increase to $250 per season and Lot 13 will increase to $200.

 

• Young Alumni Reserved Parking in Lots 2, 3, 8 and 14 will increase to $750 per season.

 

• All reserved parking spots in Lots 2, 3, 8 and 14 will now be marked with a painted number on the spot instead of a sign, in order to improve the appearance and traffic flow in these lots.
  

 

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• New Gift Levels go into effect on March 15.

 

• We are asking all Frog Club members to renew their gifts and return the enclosed parking form along with full payment before May 1, 2008.

 

• You may renew your gift online at the TCU Frog Club website: www.frogclub.tcu.edu.

 

• You must be a TCU Football Season Ticket holder in order to secure Frog Club Parking benefits.

 

• Football Season Ticket Renewal
  • You will also receive communication from the TCU Athletic Department in the near future with details about purchasing your 2008 football season tickets. Please note that you may renew your season tickets online at www.gofrogs.com. Please note that the ticket allocation for the TCU-Oklahoma game in Norman on September 27th will be limited. Tickets will be awarded on June 30, 2008 to TCU season ticket holders based on their standing in the Frog Club’s Priority Points System.
